Terms &
Conditions.
These terms govern use of the STRATO website, technical information, enquiries, special-order product information and the online warranty-registration service.
The detailed STRATO warranty coverage terms are pending final approval. This page currently explains the website and registration process only. Final warranty coverage, exclusions, service requirements, claim procedures and remedies will be governed by the approved STRATO warranty document once published.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to the STRATO website and online services made available in Fiji. STRATO products are exclusively distributed by Altitude Group. By using this website, downloading technical documents, submitting an enquiry or using the warranty-registration form, you agree to these terms to the extent they apply to that activity.
Where a signed quotation, sales agreement, purchase order, project contract or approved written warranty document contains terms that conflict with this website, the specific written document for that transaction will take priority.
2. Website use
You may use this website for legitimate personal, commercial, technical and purchasing purposes connected with STRATO products and services. You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or misleading information, use automated methods that create unreasonable load, or use the site in a way that infringes another person's rights.
We may update, suspend or change website features at any time, including product pages, document downloads, enquiry tools and registration services.
3. Product information and specifications
Product descriptions, capacities, dimensions, electrical information, images, feature statements and technical tables are provided to help customers, installers, consultants and project teams evaluate STRATO products. Specifications can change as products are revised or supplier information is updated.
Technical information shown on this site should be checked against the current cut sheet, nameplate and approved project documentation before procurement, installation or design decisions are finalized. Values marked with an asterisk or shown as TBC are intentionally presented as supplied and require confirmation before final selection.
Images and illustrations may be representative. Minor visual differences between website imagery and delivered equipment do not necessarily indicate a change in performance or specification.
4. Availability and special orders
Product pages may display either In Stock or Available by Special Order. An availability label is informational and can change without notice due to sales, inbound shipments, supplier stock, freight timing or allocation to other projects.
Available by Special Order means the model forms part of the STRATO range but is not represented as immediately available from local stock. Customers should request the current lead time before committing to project dates.
A lead-time indication is an estimate unless confirmed in writing as part of an accepted quotation or contract. International production, freight, customs, port delays and events outside reasonable control may affect special-order timing.
5. Technical documents and cut sheets
Cut sheets, manuals, drawings and other technical documents are provided for reference and project coordination. Users are responsible for ensuring they are working from the latest applicable revision.
Downloading a document does not transfer ownership of the underlying design, trade marks, artwork or technical content. Documents may be shared with consultants, contractors and clients where reasonably necessary for a STRATO-related project, but they must not be altered in a misleading way or presented as another brand's material.
6. Enquiries, quotations and orders
Submitting an online enquiry, requesting a lead time or using the product finder does not create a contract or reserve stock. Any sale remains subject to a formal quotation, acceptance, payment terms and other transaction-specific conditions issued by the seller.
The room-size / capacity finder on the website is a general starting guide only. Air-conditioning selection depends on variables such as room size, glazing, orientation, occupancy, heat load, ceiling height, insulation, equipment load and operating conditions. Final equipment selection should be confirmed by a suitably qualified person after a site assessment or design review.
Prices, taxes, freight, installation, commissioning and other costs are not included unless specifically stated in a formal quotation.
7. Installation, commissioning and use
STRATO equipment must be selected, installed, connected, commissioned, operated and maintained in accordance with the applicable product documentation, electrical requirements, refrigerant requirements, site conditions and relevant laws or standards.
The website does not replace professional installation advice. Incorrect equipment selection, installation, electrical supply, piping, drainage, commissioning or maintenance can affect performance and may affect rights under the final written warranty terms once those terms are issued.
For project applications, the customer and project team remain responsible for confirming site dimensions, services, access, structural requirements, electrical capacity and coordination with other trades.
8. Warranty registration
The online registration service records information about the customer, purchase, unit and installation. Required fields may include customer contact information, invoice number, purchase date, product type, capacity, model number, indoor serial number, outdoor serial number, installation date and installer information.
Submitting a registration does not by itself confirm that a future warranty claim is accepted, that the information submitted is correct, or that every warranty eligibility requirement has been met. Registrations may be reviewed, corrected or rejected where information is incomplete, inconsistent or cannot be verified.
You must submit accurate information and should retain the original invoice and other purchase / installation records. If serial numbers or purchase details are entered incorrectly, contact STRATO / Altitude Group so the registration record can be corrected.
Registration information may be stored in internal systems, including Google Workspace tools used by Altitude Group, for record keeping, service support, warranty administration and customer communication.
9. Detailed warranty coverage
STRATO marketing materials currently reference a 7-Year Compressor Warranty. The detailed written terms that define eligibility, commencement date, parts, labour, exclusions, installation requirements, service / maintenance requirements, commercial-use conditions, claim procedure and remedies are pending final approval and publication.
This page should not be treated as the complete statement of warranty rights or obligations. The final approved written warranty terms will govern the STRATO warranty program.
10. Information and privacy
When you submit an enquiry or warranty registration, you provide information voluntarily for the purpose of responding to you, recording the product, administering support and maintaining business records. Information should be limited to what is reasonably required for those purposes.
We may use service providers and business systems to store or process submitted information. Access should be limited to people who need the information for administration, sales, service, technical support, warranty review or legal / record-keeping purposes.
Do not enter passwords, payment-card numbers or unrelated sensitive information into free-text fields on this website.
11. Intellectual property
STRATO names, logos, brand elements, website design, product artwork, technical documents and other content are owned by or licensed for use by the relevant STRATO / Altitude Group entities and suppliers. Except for reasonable project, purchasing or reference use, no content may be copied, modified, republished or used to imply endorsement without permission.
12. Website limitations and liability
We take reasonable care to keep website information useful and current, but the website may contain errors, temporary outages, outdated stock information or incomplete supplier data. Users should verify information that is important to safety, compliance, project design or purchasing.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Fiji law. Any limitation of liability in a specific sale, installation or project will be governed by the relevant written transaction documents and applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
These website terms may be revised as the STRATO range, support systems, warranty program or legal requirements develop. The version published on the website at the time of use will apply to website activities, subject to any separate signed or approved written terms that take priority.
14. Governing law and contact
These website terms are intended to operate under the laws applicable in Fiji. Questions about STRATO products, technical information, registrations or these terms can be directed to the STRATO / Altitude Group team at Lot 3 Motorex Complex, Nadi Back Road, Fiji, or by calling +679 998 9537.
