32°CFIJI HEAT

FOR THE FIRST TIME, STRATO IS INTRODUCING PURPLE FIN TO ITS FIJI RANGE

WHY PURPLE?

Because Fiji can be tough on outdoor coils.

Heat, humidity and coastal air can be demanding. Purple Fin adds a hydrophilic, anti-corrosion coating to the aluminium fins of the heat exchanger — extra protection where exposure happens.

What Purple Fin means in simple termsEasy comparison
WHAT MATTERS
STANDARD FIN SURFACE
STRATO PURPLE FIN
Fin surface
Aluminium fin without STRATO's Purple Fin protective layer.
Aluminium fin with a hydrophilic, anti-corrosion Purple Fin coating.
Coastal exposure
Salt and coastal air reach the fin surface with no added STRATO Purple Fin barrier.
Adds an extra protective layer between the fin surface and corrosive coastal conditions.
Moisture behaviour
How water behaves depends on the fin treatment used.
The hydrophilic surface is designed to help water spread and drain across the fin face.
Coil condition over time
Long-term condition relies heavily on environment, cleaning and regular maintenance.
Extra protection can help the fins stay in better condition. Regular servicing is still important.
Protection reference
No STRATO Purple Fin coating specification applies.
The supplied coating reference uses ASTM B117 / ISO 9227 neutral salt-spray testing.
What it means for you
A standard coil still needs good installation, cleaning and servicing.
An added layer of protection designed for the hot, humid and coastal conditions common in Fiji.

Purple Fin is added protection, not a replacement for correct installation and regular maintenance. Other brands and coil treatments vary.

Extra protection near the coast.

Salt-laden air can accelerate corrosion on exposed metal surfaces. Purple Fin adds a protective coating to the outdoor heat-exchanger fins.
